What are the odds of there being an expert user out there that could program me a “show” for maestro? If I provided the types of fixtures…someone could develop me a cool show.
I am in a rock band and I do know how to do the DMX basics, and I have my maestro working. I just don’t really have the time to get it dialed in like I think it could be. I’d be willing to pay a little $$ :).
I used to get someone to run my lights but it’s been hard to find someone reliable.
Just throwing this out there. Very cool product!

Robbin created a show for me but I can’t seem to get it to load into Maestro.
All attempts to reach back out to her have been marked as “ undeliverable”.
Can any of you admins/ mods reach out to her and or tell me how to load the files she sent?
The error message I get “not a valid show file”
However the file ext is the same as it should be.
Thank you
JR

Show packs for sure! There is most definitely a market for it, and likely another market for Limbic to sell Maestro DMX certification. Hear me out, DMX is a standard protocol, and for those of us that are techofiles who can code and configure, teach us to create profiles and shows, which opens up a new market to independent artists, and bolsters Maestro's popularity. The database of equipment is massive, but the confusion comes in when someone doesn't find an exact match for their light, or has a knock off light, and isn't sure how to configure it. With common hardware across manufacturers, even knock offs, you can pretty quickly identify a configuration that would work, despite being titled differently, and of course if you know what to look at.

Show packs would be amazing. I just ordered my Maestro DMX last night and excited about its arrival.

Thanks Eric!
We're thinking of potentially offering "show packs" next year, this post makes me see that there might be a market for such a thing! I've forwarded this to out support team, let's see what we can do to help you. Of course if anyone else reading this wants to help we're open to that as well.
