Some of my higher end fixtures have both color wheels and CMY. It might be good to have the capability to pick only CMY (avoids "weird" transitions between color "engines"), only color wheel color, or best fit (maestro picks the color wheel if it is spot on, otherwise picks CMY)

Hmm, I wonder about that one. If there is both options, chances are within the fixture the color wheel value is getting turned into CMY.
The way to test would be to create two profiles, one for each, then pick solid color with single palettes full brightness and see if they are the same.

Hey G! I should post some vids. 99% of the time, CMY is best. However, you probably do get higher brightness and more saturation with a fixed color filter, as compared to using 3 filters (CMY) to achieve the same effect. This request is a priority - I've set everything to CMY.

Hi Jerry!
Why would you want to use Color Wheel if CMY is better? I think using CMY is the best.
