Fixtures w/ RGBW + CMY should not mix to create a color it can produce natively

When using a fixture that is counted as 2 pixels (such as the Chauvet Kinta HP Derby) Maestro incorrectly tries to "mix" colors when it's not needed.

After speaking with support, it was suggested that I make a feature to change how Maestro handles fixtures with RGBW + CMY.

This fixture has RGBWCMYA color LEDs. When trying to display a color (red as an example) Maestro will turn on the red LED (correct) and will also turn on the the magenta and yellow LED in an attempt to "make" red (incorrect). This is unneeded since the fixture can do red natively. This issue occurs with all other colors, even going the other way. Want to show magenta, it will also turn on blue and red to "make" magenta. These extra colors causes everything to be too bright or washed out.

Currently, with this fixture it is impossible to get only the color(s) being called for. The only other solution presented, which isn't a solution, is to disable the extra colors in the profile, which of course would mean the fixture would never display the other colors.

Attached are a few pics showing the issue.

Hi Billy,

Sorry, the current implementation of our CMY assumes you do not also have RGB.  We don't have support for fixtures with all 6 of these colors yet.  Recommend using either only the RGB or only the CMY.  There are very few fixtures like this, so it's not currently our highest priority.  Please do check out 1.4 when it's ready:  you'll be able to customize more interesting things with this fixture then.

Has there been any progress on fixing this problem? Installed version 1.3 and the issue is still there. It SEVERELY inhibits the use of Maestro. I have to fall back to using Lightkey regularly because the colors are so incorrect.
