Has anyone tried the Atom midi controller to see if it will work with the Maestro?
I didn't do my research the first time and picked up an AKAI APC mini and found out it was a no go since it doesn't have the proper configuration software. From what I read it looks like the Atom can go into an advanced programing mode to change the midi channel. It has several banks of pads and knobs that can be used so it would work great for my needs, but I can't find any info if it saves the config on the controller itself or on the computer. Without that it's hard to know if it will hold any of the config settings after they are changed on the computer and its plugged directly into the Maestro.
