Not everyone is familiar with DMX, and want to be able to play around with the main parts before buying and finding out that (which ever) controller is not what you want.

I think it would be good to be able to have a "dummy" version of the web app available.  Either here in the forums, or in the Support section.

Have us login to our account here, so that the system can remember us.  Then have it so that we can look around, play with adding fixtures and such, and being able to do just about everything that the Maestro unit itself can do.

This gives folks like me who learn better by doing, instead of watching a video, as well it helps put MaestroDMX out there so that we can decide if it is for us or if we need to try something else.

Such as currently I am in between looking at the MaestroDMX or the MyDMX Go.  MyDMX Go has the ability to download the full app and we can jump in and look around and familiarize ourselves with it.

Hi there!

Thanks for this suggestion, this is something requeted by our support team and some distributors as well!  Unfortunately it's also non-trivial to implement, so we haven't planned it for this year.  The reason it's more difficult for us via MyDMX Go is that Maestro doesn't run from your phone.  You can connect to maestro to configure the device from a phone, tablet, or pc, but after it's configured, it's a standalone controller.  With MyDMX go you need to have your phone or tablet connected at all times to run your lights.

Hope that helps and thanks again :)
