I'm almost sold on this product. I am in a band that would like to have lighting synced up to our live performances. I currently use software that can send a click/backing tracks to our IEMs and MIDI commands to an iPad app that then sends DMX commands to my Entec ODE MK3 through a network cable. I currently trigger individual lights through MIDI notes, but it's super time consuming so a product that can accept MIDI note triggers to trigger automated scenes would be fantastic.
I know that the Maestro can receive MIDI commands to trigger lighting cues over USB, but it would reduce the amount of cabling I need if you were able to send MIDI commands over the network into the Maestro. Please let me know if that's possible for the future and you'll have another sale. I'm sure you'll get lots of sales from others like me who want to simplify our live setups.

Yes, Gabby, please look into this as a future feature. I was just searching around and found some MIDI to OSC software converters, but I would have to test those out to make sure it works. It’s also another point of failure in the pathway of automating the show via MIDI. It would be much better to have native MIDI over the network port.
The current software I use for click tracks, MIDI program changes, lighting control, etc…will only accept OSC input, not output.

As of yet no. The current OSC spec is defined here:

Hey,
Is it possible to send a BPM clock signal over OSC?
To overwrite the analysis of the audio.
Greetings Kim

Hi there!
We don't receive MIDI over the network but we do receive OSC messages, would that work for you?
We may look at MIDI over network in the future, thanks for the feedback!
