Hi, I’m trying to control MaestroDMX from a PC using Art-Net.
I noticed that MaestroDMX has a LAN port and the documentation mentions an external Art-Net universe.
Can MaestroDMX receive an Art-Net DMX universe from a PC and use that data to control fixtures connected to its physical DMX output? If so, is this supported in the current MaestroDMX software/firmware, and is there any configuration required?

Hi there,
I think what you are describing is a pass-through, and no Maestro does not do this currently.
You can configure your maestro to send either artnet or dmx, but Maestro does not receive artnet / dmx. It does receive MIDI via USB or OSC commands via ethernet, but that is different (not lighting data, maestro control data).
Sounds like what you would like is an artnet to dmx converter! We use this one regularly:

Hope this helps!
