Pixel mapping / mover mapping can only be set globally. The pattern of primary and secondary, for example, always correspond to the same pattern, even though the number of pixels is different or there are more/fewer movers.

Hi there!
I just ran a quick test and confirmed that I could have my second fixture group respecting a 2D grid while my first group has a 1D pattern. So, I wasn't able to recreate this issue.
Try using the "mapping test" pattern if you're using grids. You can also set different fixture groups to different patterns and palettes in the show page.
Changing the mapping is done for each group in the "Layout tab" of the Stage.
You may want to reach out to support if you're experiencing issues, sounds like there is some confusion.
Please let me know.
Cheers, Gabby.
