Can the ethernet or second USB port on Maestro be configured to output a usable signal for visualizer input to a computer? I saw a video were the Maestro DMX out was sent to an UltraDMX Max USB adaptor made by DMXKing, which can be used as input deice into a computer. Then the signal was routed through QLC+ as a passthrough to ArtNet, which is a usable signal for a visualizer like Capture. I don't have a lot of space to setup my full lighting rig at home, use of a visualizer for setting up and playing with features on Maestro before a show would be amazing! Also spending $130 for more hardware sucks.

Artnet support, not a visualizer.
Recommend using Capture - rendering 3D lighting systems like this is a different and very complex problem. To give some context for the complexity, the team at Capture have been developing their software solution for over 20 years. Knowing how the beams of light from different fixtures will appear in a space, with varying fog... 3d modelling of trusses etc... this is all a ton of development.
We may eventually have a very simple "rgb circles / arrows for motion" type visualizer, but that has not currently been scheduled for release.

Gabby -- When you say it will be "out in November" -- are you referring to your own 3D Visualizer, or simply ArtNet support? Key difference there between the two... If you had your own internal 3d Visualizer, that would be a gamechanger.

Hi Piers,
Yes, sorry for the delay. We're aiming to have it out in November. It's very close to done, we're just doing internal testing and ironing out some of the final bits.
It's coming promise.

So we're now in Q3 of 2025 and no Artnet support. Can we get an update for when this will arrive? 512 channels really aren't enough when you start controlling LED strips

Yes sorry it's taking longer!
In the meantime there are resonably inexpensive dmx to artnet converters. We're releasing 1.4.1 very soon and artnet will be in the next release but things are taking longer than expected. Apologies for the delay!

I'll add my twopenny worth, an ethernet (or USB) protocol like ArtNet will save me setting up a full band rig just to see what MDMX is doing (and where it's doing it).
A visualiser alternative would be a deal clincher for me (and my like). Can't come soon enough!

Waiting with bated breath for this update. Any news coming up for when we might expect the release? Cheers!

We're planning it for Q1 this year, Q2 at the latest is my current estimate :)

Ah this is exciting, I'd love to know if you any more updates as to when you'll bring artnet support? Big fan of the maestro but half of my rig can't be used without artnet. Can't wait!

Tom Rindt, the UltraDMX2 Pro looks like a versatile piece of hardware. It looks like it has been replaced by the eDMX2 MAX which looks even more impressive. I just can't justify spending $380 on it at this time. For that price I can wait for the next MDMX software release that will hopefully include artnet and OSC reply messages!

Jared, I just got this working with a DMXKing UltraDMX2 Pro USB DMX dongle. That box will take DMX in and convert to ArtNET. Works great with Capture.

Artnet support on the "backend" is working, we still need to build out the front-end interface to configure it. It's coming! :) Q1 2025

I see you guys are already using Capture in the mover tutorial video. Is it already in MeastroDMX beta testing or are you guys using DMX input hardware and a pass through software converting DMX to artnet as an input to Capture?

Hi Jared!
We're working on artnet support for next year, which you could send over ethernet to Capture. Stay Tuned :)
