Dear MaestroDMX Team,
I’ve been using the MaestroDMX controller and appreciate how AI simplifies DMX channel control. However, I have a serious concern regarding security. As it stands, if someone knows the web app's address, they could theoretically access and manipulate the system without authorization.
This is a major issue. If a customer figures out the URL, they might be able to tamper with our lighting settings, which could cause disruptions. Right now, I don’t see any built-in way to restrict access properly.
I strongly urge you to implement a password setup and user management system for web app access. Ideally, this would include:
This would ensure that only authorized personnel can access and control the DMX system, preventing potential misuse. I hope this can be prioritized in an upcoming update.
Looking forward to your response.

Hi Brent!
Thanks for your feedback, Login is something we've talked about it and plan to implement in a future release, though the work is not planned as of yet.
In the meantime, feel free to change your web app address via the network page, or put your device on a private network.
Thanks again!
Gabby
