I request a new control option for DMX channels, like the Rotation function on the SHEHSD Laser.
Currently, this channel has three presets:
Rotation Index (manual rotation): DMX range 0–127
Auto Anti-Clockwise Rotation: DMX range 128–191
Clockwise Rotation: DMX range 192–255
It would be ideal if the software could map the Rotation Index (manual rotation) range (0–127) to a continuous slider, and map the other two rotation modes (Auto Anti-Clockwise and Clockwise) as separate selectable presets or switches.
This would allow precise manual control without accidentally triggering the auto-modes.

Thanks for your feedback! We are aware that our rotation implementation could use some improvements (some kind of hybrid gobo/activity attribute could be neat).
Surprisingly we haven't heard more about this affecting our users even though it had been marked by our team as something we would like to eventually address.
In the meantime you may want to look at controlling these with snapshots / fx palettes! You can likely achieve the behavior you seek this way.
