I would like to request the addition of Custom Channels in the Maestro DMX Controller. For example, it should be possible to have up to four custom DMX fixture types that appear as additional faders on the Control Page.
Each of these custom channels should also have a corresponding MIDI CC channel and a corresponding OSC channel, so that their values can be controlled via an external MIDI or OSC device such as a knob or fader on a MIDI controller.
Use Case / Why This Is Needed:
New DMX fixtures increasingly include parameters beyond the traditional ones. Examples are rotation speed or effect intensity. Having user-assignable custom channels would make it possible to control these parameters live and directly from a MIDI controller. This would be very useful for lighting jockeys and live operators who need real-time and tactile control over such non-standard DMX parameters.
Example Scenario:
A fixture includes a rotation speed DMX channel that is not part of the standard fixture mapping. The user creates a custom channel for this parameter. The custom channel appears as an additional fader on the Control Page. The user maps it to a MIDI knob via a MIDI CC number or to an OSC message for live performance control.
Expected Benefits:
This feature would increase flexibility when using unique or experimental DMX devices. It would allow more efficient live operation through physical MIDI or OSC controls. It would also improve the usability of Maestro for lighting jockeys in live show environments.

Thanks for this request! This is something our distributors have requested as well, so it is on our radar :)
