I wouldn't call these general purpose dimmers, but instead individual masters.
However, I think this is a great idea, as it offers even more flexibility. This is how I imagine it working:
There is a certain number of individual masters available (at least 4).
These can be assigned to all channel(s) in the Control Page. With the Link function, this can be done for several fixtures at once.
The output of the channel(s) is reduced depending on the value of the individual master.
It would also be worth considering whether different masters or masterfunctions would be useful. Instead of simply limiting the output, it could be scaled. For example, if the channel is at 50% and the individual master is at 50%, then the output is 25%.
The individual masters should not be influenced by cues, as they are masters. The individual masters should also be controllable via MIDI and OSC.

Thank you for posting this request. We have heard this from a few other users. Another thing that users have asked for are general purpose dimmers that can be attached to any channel(s) on the Control Page. Would a feature like this suffice for your use case?
