hi.

we use one of your units to control the stage and dance floor lighting in a nightclub.

wonderful machine, does an effortless job and we are very happy with the unit tucked away in  the attic all friendly with the amplifiers.

i once played with qlc+ on a raspberry pi, and the maestro is just a breath of fresh air!

what would be useful would be user level access control.

i have managers who need to do nothing but turn the whole system from one cue list to another, or switch to white as the bar closes.

i have djs for whom i would like to be able to assign a few buttons to a webpage they can press and play with without having access to anything they can break.

i have sound engineers who love the system but would like it all to be a little more simplified with big obvious buttons for operation whilst live.

any chance this could be implemented?

a link for each type of user with a password that could be stored on phones for managers or ipads i issue to engineers and djs giving them a simple interface with access to the controls they need, but no access to edit anything or change addresses or delete entire fixtures.

i think this is an addition that puts you right in the middle of the market for pubs and clubs who need something that a manager can control with a simple link on their phone, and djs can play to their hearts content without requiring reprogramming in the morning

thanks for all of your good work, i do hope you can help

Hi Brad!

I recommend checkout TouchOSC, which we have integration support for.

This would allow you to make a simple custom touch interface for your maestro, that has only the buttons you need!

i really like this feature, touch OSC is neat and you'd be able to create a super simple interface like the one you've described.  Hope this helps!
