v1.5.1 Bug Fixes
Infinite cues do not automatically play in the Show if there are non-infinite cues.
Short blackout during cue transitions, even if transition times are 0.
Extended controls for Gobos or Prisms are not showing up on the Control Page.
Cue duplication not working via 3-dot menu.
v1.5 FEATURES
Artnet
MaestroDMX can now send a single DMX universe over Art-Net.
A new Art-Net output creator dialog that allows manual and automatic discovery of Art-Net Nodes on the same subnet.
A framedriver drop-down has been added to the user interface, allowing users to select between Art-Net and Internal DMX framedrivers and also view unpatched fixtures.
DMX Channels View
Users can now see the DMX data sent to each channel in a universe in real time. The channels are annotated with the channel attribute type and colour-coded accordingly.
Users can also patch fixtures and edit fixture channels directly in the DMX Channels View.
Twinkle Pattern Modifications
The Twinkle core pattern has been slightly modified to achieve slower movement at lower speeds.
Cue Transition Changes
Users can now specify both an In and Out Transition time for Cues within a Show.
MIDI/OSC Play-Pause Control
Users can now send a Play-Pause command to MaestroDMX via MIDI or OSC.
Note: The Play-Pause feature is only available in Show mode.
Play-Pause enables users to control the playback of a show with a single MIDI button press.
OSC: /show/play_pause
MIDI: Note On 11
Snapshot Preview Icon
You can now see if MaestroDMX is previewing a Snapshot via the menu banner at the top of the app.
Additionally, the kick drum icon has been rotated to depict a kick drum better.
Control Page Real-Time DMX Data View
The Control page now shows, in real time, colour-coded DMX data for each channel of any given fixture.
Bulk Actions with Multi-Select
The following tables in the user interface now support multi-selecting rows. This allows users to bulk delete or duplicate: Show, Stage Patcher, and Fixture Profiles.
Networking/Wifi Improvements
For security, the Wi-Fi SSID password is no longer shown on the Wi-Fi page.
Modifications were made to the the Wifi configuration to improve performance.
v1.5 Bug Fixes
When creating multiple snapshots with gobos or prisms and linking across multiple fixtures, the snapshot gets cleared.
Various bugs regarding FX Palettes
When multiple clients connect to Maestro at the same time, the snapshot preview can become glitchy and pick the wrong preview. If you find this, please close all but one client window.
Network configuration: Specifically, static IP or DHCP on the Ethernet interface does not save its state on reboot.
When changing parameters in Live Control, the Show badge incorrectly displays "Stopped" instead of "Live."
In the solid color pattern, the color preview bar does not update when changing individual palettes.
On the Control Page, when an attribute's smoothing is changed, the values change unexpectedly.
KNOWN BUGS
Sometimes the lights freeze for 2 seconds after switching cues (will be fixed in 1.6)
External USB audio interfaces require a system power cycle to function
After a Software update or Backup Restore, Maestro sometimes fails to send DMX data; a power cycle resolves this issue.
Triggers and FX Palettes do not work when the show is stopped or paused. This is currently by design and will require significant changes to address.
Changing a snapshot attribute back to its default value keeps the value highlighted in blue.
Loading an older stage does not offer a fourth fixture group option.
When multiple clients are connected to Maestro concurrently, the kick drum notification isn’t always accurate across all windows.
